Hi all,

Attempting to use the 'Guest' login would yield the same outcome - continual 'Hold for Authentication' / no successful print. Resetting the Printer solved the issue - I re-added the printer in Mojave, and clicked 'Guest' and can print successfully. I am running Windows 10 on my iMac for various reasons and I have a printer shared from it (in both highSierra and Windows 10). This works flawlessly between the other macs but when I switch to Windows it doesn't work. The other macOS machines can add the printers but can't print. I get an 'authentication required' :
Apple Printer Hold For Authentication
Mac Hold For Authentication
When I am prompted I put in my Windows 10 login (which is actually the Microsoft login as Windows 10 is all linked to the online account) it spools the print job but then I get the error above error. I have also enabled the Windows 10 guest account tried using guest/guest for authentication but I get the same thing. If I just put gibberish in I get a rejection so it looks like the account information is being acknowledged and authenticated by the Windows box just fine.
Any help appreciated. Thanks.
